On May 12, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck Sichuan Province in central China, collapsing schools and factories, killing tens of thousands of people, and the death toll is still increasing. Everyone was overwhelmed by this disastrous tragedy, so were the staff of the Domestic Distribution Company.  As soon as the news broke, many people expressed their will to make a donation.  When a donation campaign was organized, everyone emptied their pockets to support the suffering compatriots; among them, there is a common employee that moved lots of people. His name is Wei Hejun, a common employee of Operation Management Dept., earning limited salary every month. Between a sick wife and a school-age child, there is quite a burden on his shoulders.  On hearing the disaster, he immediately donated 500 Yuan, which is anything but a small sum of money to him and his family.  “It’s true that there are some difficulties in my family, but our people in Sichuan are enduring such unimaginable hardship.  What I have is nothing compared with what they are going through, so I have to give a helping hand to the suffering compatriots there.” He said.  Later people got to know that, apart from the 500 Yuan he donated in the company, he gave another 100 Yuan to his child to donate at school.
