The May 12 Earthquake, a disaster that collapsed buildings, destroyed families and took lives, has shaken every Chinese’ life.  To support the disaster relief work, the Organization Department of the Central Committee put forward a proposal of collecting special Party dues as a donation.

To actively answer the call, a meeting of Party branch and group leaders was organized.  Mr. Hui Youquan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee delivered the spirit of the Organization Department of the Central Committee and the Group Party Committee.  It was met with warm response from all Party members.  Even before the form of donation record was printed, many Party group leaders have brought the money collected from members to the Party Committee Office.  Many retired employees and those on business trips called to ask the company to donate money on their behalf.

In this donation campaign, all Party members made quick response to the call, which reflects their firm belief of serving the people.  After the donation, they also expressed their will to work harder so as to support the progress of disaster relief.
